AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
Waterbury - Mr. Thomas J. Gorman 48, of Wildemere Ave., Waterbury, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Saint Mary's Hospital.
Mr. Gorman was born November 1, 1962 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Patrick J. and Ruth (Reed) Gorman of Waterbury. He graduated from Saints Peter and Paul Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School where he was the President of the Class of 1980. Tom was recently employed by Fusco Management as a Maintenance Foreman, assigned to the Meriden Courthouse. Tommy was considered the neighborhood handyman, always willing to help out any of his neighbors with various chores and projects. He also assisted with projects at Saints Peter & Paul Church where he was a long time member and served as a eucharistic minister. Tommy was an avid Boston Redsox fan and enjoyed golfing.
Besides his parents, Tom leaves his daughter, Alexa Gorman of Prospect, his 3 brothers; Patrick and his wife, Darcie of Laguna Beach CA, Daniel and his wife, Linda of Watertown and Andrew and his wife, Philomena of Waterbury, his 2 sisters; Laura Gorman and her partner Bridget Tartaro of Naugatuck and Ruth Haines and her husband, John of Kirtland OH. He also leaves his aunt, Mary Gorman of Oakville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Gorman will be held on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at 10:00am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main St Waterbury to Saint Peter and Paul Church 67 Southmayd Rd Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, October 7th, from 4 till 7 pm.
