WATERBURY – Timothy J. Markiewicz age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home. He was the husband of Kelly (Roberts) Markiewicz
Timothy was born March 2, 1977 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Janice (Wooster) Hannis and the late Stanley Markiewicz. He was raised in Watertown and attended Kaynor Technical School. Tim was the owner-operator of 1StopAuto LLC in Naugatuck and was a skilled mechanic and autobody specialist. Tim enjoyed riding quads and his Harley, boating, movies, and playing the drums. He was a longtime active parishioner of Mill Plain Union, NEA ZOE Church in Waterbury where he played the drums in the church band. Tim will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, beside his mother, Janice, and wife, Kelly, are his children; Angela Markiewicz, Sarah Markiewicz, Rachael Markiewicz, Alex Bozzuto, and Bryson Yorker. He also leaves his brother, Christopher (Jenn) Markiewicz, his step sisters, Danielle McKenney and Nicholette Hannis, his granddaughter, Sariah, as well as extended family and devoted friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Markiewicz will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 10am at Mill Plain Union church 242 Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with the Markiewicz family on Monday, July 11.2022 from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury.
