WATERBURY- Mr. Todd A. Loftus, age 43 of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, after a brief illness.
Todd was born on March 4, 1979, in Waterbury, the son of Margaret “Peg” (Pryor) Loftus and the late Edward T. Loftus. He was a graduate of St. Margaret’s Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School and prior to his illness, he was employed in the automotive industry. Todd was an avid sports fan and followed with great joy, the NY Mets, New England Patriots, and Notre Dame football. Although he left us way too soon, his life here was blessed by the love of his family and friends.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memories, besides his mother, Margaret is his brother, Thomas W. Loftus of Waterbury his aunts; Patricia Schaaf and Evelyn Pryor both of Prospect and his uncle, Gerald W. Loftus of Marlborough CT as well as several cousins. Todd was predeceased by his brother Timothy Loftus
Funeral services for Mr. Loftus will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with the Loftus family on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Loving-kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence, words of comfort, or share a memory with the family and friends of someone important to you.
