AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Toni J. (Franzese) Cosmos age 46 of Burr Street Waterbury died unexpectedly February 23, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Dean Cosmos.
Toni was born January 27, 1965 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Frank T. and Marion E. (Burns) Franzese and lived in Oakville most of her life. She was a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1983. Toni had worked as a waitress at the former Town Line Restaurant in Prospect, Ragozino's in Waterbury, the former Athenian Diner in Waterbury and the Manor Inn in Southington. She was a member of Saint Mary Magdalen Church.
Besides her husband of Waterbury, she leaves two brothers, Thomas E. Franzese and his wife, Lauren, of Allendale, N.J., William J. Franzese and his wife, Marisa, of Coral Springs, Fla.; seven sisters, Sharon Pettit of Waterbury, Carmen Echevarria and her husband, Joe, of Middlebury, Linda Laudieri and her husband, Frank, of Oakville, Diane Valunas and her husband, Robert, of Oakville, Doreen Baldoni and her husband, Dino, of Watertown, Lori DiMaria-Benvenuto and her husband, Brian, of Oakville, and Marion Pilitowski and her husband, Richard, of Oakville and several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews, a step-daughter Alexia Bates and her lifelong friend Warren Dilger. She was predeceased by her brother, Francis P. Franzese, and her nephew, Gary Pettit.
Funeral Saturday February 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. directly at Saint Mary Magdalen Church. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
