WATERBURY- Tulidania Rodriguez age 76 of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Saturday June 10, 2017 at Autumn Lakes Health Care Center surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a brief illness. She was beloved wife of Jose Rodriguez.
Tulidania was born November 20, 1940 in Utuado Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Gonzalez. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker who devoted herself to her family. She especially enjoyed cooking, knitting, watching Nascar races with her son and would never miss a episode of her Spanish Soap Operas. What brought the greatest joy to Tulidania was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides he husband Jose of 61 years. She is survived by her children Jose M. Rodriguez of Hartford, Tony Rodriguez and his wife, Racquel Soto of Waterbury, Johnnie Rodriguez and his wife Lourdes of Bristol, Carmen Rodriguez and her husband, Luis of Waterbury, Rosa Sanchez and her husband, David of Lattimer, PA. Lydia Rodriguez, of Waterbury, Maria Ortiz and her husband, Hector, of Altoona, PA. She is also survived by her brother Antonio Gonzalez, of New Britain, in addition to many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
The Rodriguez family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff and care givers at the Harold Leever Cancer Center, Gaylord Hospital, The Cheshire House and Autumn Lakes Health Care for the wonderful care they have provided to Tulidania and her family during her illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rodriguez will be held on Thursday June 15 at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church Wolcott Street when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery Waterbury.
