WATERTOWN- Urbain Dauphin age 84 of Buckingham Terrace died Monday at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Pauline J. (Bernier) Dauphin.
Urbain was born April 17, 1924 in Biddeford, ME. one of six children to the late Arthur and Josephine (Guilreault) Dauphin and lived in Oakville and Watertown since 1951. Prior to his retirement he worked as a mold maker and warehouse worker at Uniroyal of Naugatuck, he also worked at Thomaston High School. Urbain proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy Veteran during WWII.
Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves a brother Raymond Dauphin of Savanna Springs, FL., two grandchildren Jason Lockton of Watertown, James Lockton of Morris and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers Rene and Andre Dauphin and two sisters Simonne Dauphin and Adoriene Ross.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Thursday at 1:30p.m. in Mount Olivet Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville has been entrusted with arrangements.
