THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF VERONIQUE BRAXTON- ANGUS
WATERBURY - Veronique Braxton-Angus of Waterbury passed away peacefully in the quiet and comfort of her home on Friday May 22, 2020, surrounded by those who loved her after an extended illness. She was the wife of Robert Angus.
Veronique was born March 10, 1973 to Loreen Spencer, and the late Charlie Braxton in New Haven, CT. Veronique was a graduate of Sound High School, and after attended Lincoln Tech where she graduated top of her nursing class. Then went on to work at St Raphael Hospital at the Grimes center. On January 26, 2007 Veronique married Robert Angus in which union three children were conceived; Imani, Stafford, and Robert Angus Jr.
Veronique leaves behind her husband, three kids, her mother Loreen Braxton, brother, Charleston Braxton, and sisters; Velita, Shawn, she also leaves behind her cousin, Kim Rosario and uncles; Fred Spencer, and Keith Spencer, and nieces, Lamara, Mariah, and Ericka. One nephew, Frankie, and one step daughter, Tajanae Angus. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Braxton, her brother, Eric Spencer, brother in-law, Stafford Angus, and her grandmother, Lucy Spencer.
Veronique will be missed by her ex sister in law, Genika, her in-laws Erick and Mavis Angus, her sisters in-laws; Mitze, Marilyn, Dahlia, and brothers in-laws, Gary , Delroy, and Erick, and also her many friends and family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Braxton-Angus will be private but a public memorial service will be scheduled for May 22, 2021.
