OAKVILLE - Virginia I. Mango age 95 of Oakville passed away on Tuesday, April 13th 2016 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital following a brief illness. She was the widow of Ralph E. Mango

Mrs. Mango was born December 7th 1920 in Plymouth, CT, the daughter of the late Severino and Cecelia (Rossi) Ramponi. She attended Watertown and Oakville Schools and spent several years working at Winchester Electronics and Timex Manufacturing. Virginia also spent several years working as a cafeteria aid for the Watertown School system and served as the cafeteria manager at Judson School until her retirement. She was a member of the Friends of Gladys Taber's Club in Southbury, a parishioner of Saint Mary Magdalen Church where she was a member of the Catholic Women's Organization and the altar society. She also enjoyed gardening, oil painting and quilting. What brought the most joy to Virginia was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Among her survivors are her son David J. Mango of Oakville, her daughter- in-law Kathleen Mango of Goshen and her son-in- law Joseph A. Przybyloski of Naugatuck and Naples, FL, as well as her three grandchildren and their spouses, Joseph R. and Anastasia Przybyloski of Bethany, Susan and John Matuszewski of Windham, New Hampshire & Matthew Mango of Goshen. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren, Jack and Michael Matuszewski, and Joey and Sophia Przybyloski. Virginia leaves several devoted nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Ralph F. Mango Jr. her daughter Lucy M. Przybyloski and her brothers John and Victor Ramponi as well as her sister Elizabeth Carlotto.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mango will be held on Saturday April 16th 2016 at 9:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary Magdalen Church 45 Buckingham St Oakville. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery Watertown. Friends and relatives may visit with Virginia's family at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville on Friday April 15th from 4:00 ~ 7:00pm.
