HUNTERSVILLE NC - Mr. William F. Dillon Jr, age 63, formerly of Waterbury passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 6, 2016 after an extended illness.
Mr. Dillon was born on September 27, 1952 in Waterbury the son of the late William F. Sr. and Bernice (Sullivan) Dillon. Bill was a graduate of Crosby High School, spent time as a Brother in the Missionary Society of Our Lady of LaSalette and worked for many years with the Wyndham Resort Corporation.
William is survived by his sisters, Barbara Walters and her husband, Edward of Naples FL and Deborah Jackson and her husband, Thomas of Bradenton FL. He also leaves three nieces, Sarah and Jennifer Jackson and Susan Mickan and several cousins as well as his longtime friend, Robert Wood and his dear friends, the Hurley - Varallo family. He was predeceased by his nephew, James Walters.
Funeral Services for Mr. Dillon will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury to SS Peter & Paul Church to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Bill's family on Friday morning from 9:00 till 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
