THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF WILLIAM LALLIER
WATERBURY - William "Billy" F. Lallier, Jr., age 49 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary's Hospital on March 18, 2020.
William was born on March 22nd, 1970 in Waterbury, CT. He was a 1988 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. William was a precision machinist at Prime Engineering in Watertown, CT for 7 years. He always had a passion for math and always wanted to furthered himself with a career as a math teacher. He attended Naugatuck Valley Community College in 1989, and also took the time to tutor his fellow students in Mathematics. Billy was a very giving person and would go out of his way to help those in need. His personality was very comical and was very good at doing perfect impersonations of others. His giggle was infectious. Billy enjoyed many sports, specifically the Yankees and was always off of his seat, jumping up and down rooting for them. He played baseball in his early years on several different teams including high school, little leagues and the PAL Program in Waterbury. He would stand on home plate and throw pop flies all the way out in the outfield. He was in a different world when it came to baseball. Billy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, completing puzzles, conquering new challenges, fishing, listening to 105.9 The River and participating in bible studies. He will be fondly remembered and missed by anyone's life he has touched.
Left to cherish his memory and honor William's love and legacy, are his three daughters, Rachael Lallier of Hudson, NY, Megan Lallier of Thomaston, CT and Rebecca Lallier of Thomaston, CT. He is also survived by 5 siblings, Edmund Breeney of Waterbury, CT, Ellen Newell of Torrington, CT, Cathie Sabio of East Berlin, CT, Mary Lallier of Waterbury, CT and Carl Lallier of Naugatuck, CT, several cousins, nieces, nephews and 5 grandchildren. William is predeceased by his father William F. Lallier Sr. and by his mother Patricia Lallier of Waterbury, CT. Billy was very loved and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services for Mr. Lallier will be held on Friday March 27th, 2020 at O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St, Oakville CT. Due to the government's orders now in effect, there will be no public services for William Lallier. The family will conduct private services.
