BETHLEHEM - William E. "Wild Bill" Lubak, age 61 of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday June 19, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital after an extended illness. He was the beloved husband of Lori (Galvin) Lubak.
Bill was born February 16, 1956 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late William and Sophie (Adamski) Lubak. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and worked as a Program Supervisor at Southbury Training School and he also taught many service classes that led to him having a large following of coworkers who appreciated his quick wit and sense of humor that he incorporated into his teaching. Bill loved to build and fly model airplanes and was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed spending time outdoors on his property clearing fields, building duck ponds and bird houses. One of Bill favorite hobbies was music and he was former member of the band Vengeance and loved singing karaoke which led to his nick name, "Wild Bill".
Besides his wife Lori of 35 years, Bill is survived by his son, William West of British Columbia and his daughter, Ashley Luback of Bethlehem as well as his sister, Adrienne Lubak and his dogs, Toby and Max in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mr. Lubak will be held on Monday June 26, 2017 at 6:00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may visit with Bill's family on Monday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00.
