Mr. William A Turner

September 1, 1990 — July 11, 2022

MIDDLEBURY CT - William Andrew Turner, age 31, of Middlebury, CT, died suddenly on 7/11/2022 at home.

William was born on 9/1/1990 in Waterbury, the son of William M. Turner of Vero Beach FL and Mary Beth Calo-Turner of Middlebury. He attended Haddam-Killingworth High School in Higganum, CT and was currently employed as an Assistant Manager at Nardelli’s in Waterbury. His loss was completely unexpected and has shocked and deeply saddened his family and friends. He was known as Andrew to his large family, Will to his many friends (among his many other nicknames) and as a warm-hearted, kind, and loving person by all with the best bear hugs around. His tenderness towards children and animals is particularly notable as well as his unwavering support to his family and friends during any time of need or distress. Andrew had the gift of knowing how to be a constant and reliable source of assurance and comfort to those close to him while, at the same time, also managing the considerable challenges in his own life.

Andrew’s continual willingness to put other’s well-being before his own reflects the quality of his character and the goodness in his soul. His unfortunate and untimely departure will be felt by the many lives that he regularly touched as he was a source of positivity and joy in ways that words just cannot describe. Although he left us all too soon, Andrew lived life to the fullest, blessed by the love and togetherness of family and friends.

Andrew is survived by his father, William, and his wife, Carolyn Turner of Vero Beach, FL, his mother, Mary Beth Calo-Turner of Middlebury, CT, his older sister, Faith Cunningham of Nashville, TN, and younger sisters; Olivia Turner of Savannah, GA, Lindsey Clegg of West Hartford, CT and Carly Clegg of Atlanta, GA. His extended family includes seven uncles, five aunts, two nieces and several dozen cousins and second cousins literally stretching from coast to coast. We all miss him dearly.

Funeral services for Mr. Turner will be held privately at the convenience of his family. To honor his memory, contributions to the William A.
