AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
Waterbury, CT. William L. Walsh, age 74, of Waterbury, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the widower of Patricia Redican who passed on January 2, 2009.
William was born on November 1, 1937 in Waterbury, the son of the late Cyril and Catherine (Kopp) Walsh. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and was a veteran of the US Navy. Bill was an electrician by trade and member of Local 488 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and worked for O.J. Mann Electrical Contractors of Cheshire, prior to his retirement. Bill loved fishing and was an avid Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboy fan.
Bill is survived by his two daughters, Jacqueline Costante and her husband James of Waterbury and Andrea Walsh of Littleton, CO. his brother, Lawrence of White, GA and his sister, Judith Casey of Chatham NJ, Bill also leaves six grandchildren, James Jr., Amanda, Christopher, Hunter, Braden and Emerald as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Walsh will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St. Waterbury to SS Peter and Paul Church 67 Southmayd Rd Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00am until 10:00am.
