WATERBURY CT - Mrs. Yvette Meo age 88, formerly of Maybury Circle Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Paradigm Healthcare Center of Waterbury after an extended illness. She was the widow of Francis Meo.
Yvette was born June 8th 1925 in Lamarche France, the daughter of the late Pierre & Paulette Thouvenel. She was raised and educated in France and moved to the US in 1946 and worked as an assembler for Timex Corporation for 30 years before her retirement. Yvette was a dedicated and loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and children. She was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Church.
Among her survivors are her children, Rosaline Gilland and her husband Jim of Waterbury, Francine Richardson of Nashua, NH. Danielle Grilley of Watertown, her son in-law, Ralph Lambert of Cheshire, and her daughter in-law, Eloise Marinos of North Canton, CT. She also leaves two brothers Gerard and Paul Thouvenel as well as six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Meo, her daughter Paulette Lambert, and her grandson Peter Quattro.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Meo will be held on Thursday, September 12th, 2013 at 10:00 am at Eastside Memorial, "A CASEY FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & TRIBUTE CENTER" 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Rites of committal will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends of may visit with Yvette's family on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
