Miranda has been with Casey’s since August 2020 when she completed her apprenticeship and then became fully licensed. She resides in Goshen, with her two children Aubree and Jaxson along with her animals, dogs, and horses.
Laura is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, and in the Fall of 2023 joined the Casey team as the firm’s Care Center Manager. She has enjoyed more than six years in the funeral industry and brings her unique skills in preparation, cosmetics, and pouring her heart and soul into the presentation of those entrusted to our care with compassion and skill.
From an early age, Laura had a kind heart and proclivity to help others in any way she could.
Coupled with her interest in science as a young adult, she decided to pursue a career in funeral service, and in 2016 she received her degree in Mortuary Science from Lincoln College of New England.
Whether it is helping your family find peace from a final goodbye, planning services after a loss, or pre-planning for that piece of mind, she has made it her life’s work to care for others. Laura’s hope is that her knowledge and compassionate heart can help guide families through one of the most difficult experiences in life. From the moment your loved one enters our care, Laura and
our team care for them as if they were a member of our own family, and pledge a never-ending commitment of respect and service to those who place their trust in us. Laura is an integral and value-added member of the Team and we are very fortunate to have her.
Laura lives in Bristol and in her free time enjoys reading, listening to oldies, as well as crafting
and cross-stitching.
Holly joined the Casey team as an intern while going through the mortuary science program in September 2022, since then she has received her degree in Mortuary Science from Goodwin University in East Hartford. She has enjoyed becoming an integral part of the funeral industry and the Team at Casey’s.
Holly grew up in Bethany, Connecticut, and has lived there for most of her years with her parents and three sisters. Recently, she moved to Wallingford with her husband and their 5 dogs. When Holly isn’t working, spending time with her family or friends, or taking care of her 5 dogs, she is out on the softball field. Holly played softball most of her life and plans to continue to do so for as long as possible.
Before Holly’s devotion and dedication to Casey’s team and the funeral industry, Holly received her bachelor’s degree in communication from Southern Connecticut State University in 2011. Holly also previously worked for the Senior Care Industry for 16+ years. Holly served as a manager for 12 years and decided to change paths to help others more closely.
Andrea McNerney is the Team’s Business Manager. Andrea joined Casey’s in August of 2022 and brings over 10 years of administrative and office management experience. She is responsible for all day-to-day business activities in the company, which the entire staff depends on. Andrea is the central link for communications within the entire organization and provides an essential and integral function to the entire team. Additionally, she is the initial contact for all those that reach out to our funeral home and is committed to the premise “that you never get a second chance for a first impression”. Andrea grew up in Wolcott, CT, and earned a bachelor’s degree from CCSU. In her free time, Andrea loves listening to loud music and spends most evenings coaching cheer. She still lives in Wolcott with her husband, David and two beautiful children, Declan and Maela.
